We would like to start introducing ourselves with a little story that happened a year and a half ago. While managing a chain of fitness clubs we were trying to find something new and unusual. And absolutely by chance we found old photos from the early 20th century, where we saw an unusual trampoline with handle bar and a man who (as it turned out later) invented it.
After digging in the library archives of the National Institute of Physical Education, we found out that his name was Victor Leopoldovich Braunshveigskiy, and his invention was called “gymnastic skyjumping”.
With great difficulty we managed to reconstruct this piece of equipment using photographs. And finally we saw a true masterpiece, which stays topical even a hundred years after it was invented!
To honor Victor Leopoldovich it was decided to name exercising on a trampoline “Sky Jumping”.
